Reported by Global Times reporter Liu Kun on June 11th The Korean Trade Association and Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba held the "Alibaba Group New Retail and Korean Core Project Strategy Briefing" at the Korea International Convention and Exhibition (COEX) in Seoul, attracting more than 1000 Korean business professionals to seek business opportunities. According to Yonhap News Agency, Zhao Anqi, the head of Alibaba Group's globalization team, stated that China has over 1.3 billion consumers and will import $8 trillion worth of goods in the next five years. Alibaba will provide one-stop solutions based on its core strategies of new retail, large-scale imports, and globalization, actively helping Korean companies enter the Chinese market. On that day, Alibaba signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation with 17 Korean brands, including beauty brand Innisfree and SNP, clothing brand BOYLONDON, and baby clothing and supplies brand Zero to Seven. Alibaba also provides consulting services for Korean companies interested in entering the Chinese market.
